We assist customers with travel information and the purchase of travel-related services and products.

1. The Purpose of This Agreement

"We", "Us", "Our", and "Flights Expert" refer to Flights Expert.ca, doing business as Flights Expert.ca.

"You" or "Your" means the customer or user of our Website.

"Includes" or "Including" means without limitation.

"Bookings" means any travel-related services or products, including airline tickets and hotel reservations, reserved or purchased through our Website.

The terms applicable at the time of your Booking will govern that Booking, subject to applicable law.

2. Use of the Website

• You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence.
• You have the legal authority to make Bookings for yourself and any other person you are authorized to represent.

• You will make genuine Bookings for legitimate travel purposes.
• You will inform all travellers for whom you make Bookings about the applicable terms, restrictions, rules, and requirements.
• All information you provide to us is accurate, complete, current, and truthful.
• If you maintain a Flights Expert account, you are responsible for protecting your login credentials and account information and for activities conducted through your account, subject to applicable law.

Flights Expert reserves the right to restrict or refuse access to its services where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, security concerns, or violations of this Agreement, subject to applicable law.

4. General Travel Information

Flights Expert provides information about vacation destinations, flight schedules, airfares, travel providers, tour packages, travel insurance, cruises, transportation, and other travel-related services.

Some information is obtained from third-party sources, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation providers. Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current information, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, error-free, or up to date. Prices, schedules, packages, and availability may change without notice.

Travellers are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable travel requirements, including passport, visa, health, and entry requirements.

Additional terms and conditions imposed by Travel Service Providers may apply to your Booking. These may cover check-in times, payments, baggage allowances, cancellation charges, availability, and the use of particular services or products.

Please review all applicable provider terms carefully. If your itinerary includes multiple Travel Service Providers, you should review the terms applicable to each provider and each journey segment.

You should retain copies of your booking confirmations, e-tickets, and other relevant travel documents. Airlines or immigration authorities may require evidence of onward or return travel.

One-way and round-trip tickets may be subject to different restrictions, charges, and fare rules. Each ticket is governed by the applicable fare conditions.

Airfare, currency exchange rates, and payment amounts may fluctuate. Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion rates or foreign transaction fees that differ from the amounts displayed during booking.

5. International Travel Requirements

5.1 Passports and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents and meeting all applicable international travel requirements, including tourist, business, and transit visas, passports, permits, and entry authorizations.

Before booking and departure, review relevant government travel advisories and contact the appropriate embassy, consulate, or immigration authority for current requirements. Requirements may vary by destination, nationality, transit location, and individual circumstances.

Flights Expert is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or travel disruption resulting from your failure to satisfy applicable documentation or entry requirements, to the extent permitted by law. Transit requirements may apply even if you do not leave the airport or aircraft.

5.2 Health Requirements

Travellers should review any vaccination, immunization, medication, and health requirements applicable to their destinations and transit points. Recommendations may change depending on the destination, season, climate, and public health conditions.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before travelling where appropriate. You are responsible for complying with applicable health requirements and obtaining any recommended vaccinations or medications.

Some countries may require aircraft disinfection or other public health measures when a potential risk to public health, agriculture, or the environment is identified.

Travel may be affected by geography, weather, climate, public health measures, and other external circumstances. Flights Expert does not guarantee that travel will be free from such risks and is subject to the limitations and obligations imposed by applicable law.

6. Airline Baggage Policy

Airline baggage fees may not be included in the price of your Booking. Additional charges may apply depending on the airline, ticket type, baggage weight, dimensions, number of bags, and route.

Please check your airline's baggage policy before departure to confirm the applicable allowances and fees.

6.1 Recommended Check-In Times

We recommend arriving at the airport with sufficient time to complete check-in, security screening, and other departure formalities.

• Domestic flights: Arrive at least 90 minutes before departure.
• International and cross-border flights: Arrive at least 3 hours before departure.

These are general recommendations. Your airline or airport may require earlier arrival, so always confirm the applicable instructions.

7. Airline Schedule Changes

Flight schedule changes may result from mechanical issues, crew availability, weather conditions, civil unrest, operational requirements, or other circumstances affecting the airline.

After check-in, the airline generally manages operational matters relating to your flight and reservation. If a schedule change occurs, we recommend contacting the airline directly to understand the available alternatives.

Where information is made available to us, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of relevant itinerary changes by telephone, email, or other available communication methods and assist with options permitted by the airline's policies.

Available alternatives may be limited by airline rules, ticket conditions, and circumstances beyond our control.

8. Future Travel Credits

A Future Travel Credit ("FTR") is a credit issued by an airline that may be used toward eligible future travel, subject to that airline's terms, conditions, and restrictions.

Where applicable, Future Travel Credits are issued or administered by the relevant airline in accordance with its policies.

Unless the issuing airline's rules or applicable law provide otherwise, Future Travel Credits may be subject to the following conditions:

• Airline fare rules, restrictions, and applicable booking conditions continue to apply.
• Credits may be non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Credits may only be used with the airline or provider that issued them.
• Credits may be applied toward an eligible new ticket, subject to the ticket's value and the airline's rules.
• Credits must be redeemed within the validity period specified by the issuing airline.
• Additional service fees, fare differences, taxes, and routing restrictions may apply.

Please confirm the validity, redemption process, and applicable charges with the issuing airline or our customer service team before making a new Booking.

9. Overbooking of Flights

Airlines may sometimes accept more reservations than the number of available seats. This practice can result in denied boarding or changes to confirmed travel arrangements.

If an airline overbooks a flight, the airline's applicable policies and passenger protection laws will govern the available remedies, including rebooking, compensation, or refunds where required.

Flights Expert will provide reasonable assistance with available options when appropriate and permitted by the airline and applicable law.

10. Prices and Booking Confirmation

Prices and advertisements displayed on our Website are generally invitations to make a Booking request and are not necessarily binding offers to sell a particular travel service.

A Booking request becomes confirmed when the applicable requirements have been satisfied and confirmation has been issued by Flights Expert or the relevant Travel Service Provider.

You may receive a booking notification containing a Booking ID or reference number before a ticket is issued. A pending request or reference number does not necessarily mean that a ticket has been issued or that the Booking is fully confirmed.

Where applicable, you will receive a confirmation email and ticket details once your Booking has been accepted and the ticket has been issued.

Prices and availability may change before a Booking is confirmed. If a fare changes while a request is pending, we will communicate the revised price where reasonably possible before proceeding with the purchase.

Once a Booking has been accepted and ticketed, changes, cancellations, and refunds remain subject to the applicable fare rules, provider policies, and applicable law.

11. Flight and Payment Information

Your bank or card issuer may apply fees to international transactions, including currency conversion fees and foreign transaction charges.

The amount shown on your credit or debit card statement may differ from the displayed Booking amount because of exchange rates, conversion methods, or fees imposed by your financial institution.

Your bank or card issuer determines the applicable exchange rate and any associated conversion fees. Flights Expert does not control these rates or fees.

If you have questions about currency conversions or bank charges, contact your financial institution directly.

Once your airline ticket has been issued, you will receive the applicable e-ticket or booking documentation. We recommend reconfirming your flight directly with the airline approximately 72 hours before departure for international travel.

12. Meal Requests, Seat Selection and Frequent Flyer Services

Requests for particular seats, special meals, frequent flyer benefits, and other additional services are subject to the relevant airline's policies and availability.

Airlines retain control over seat assignments and may change them for operational, safety, or other permitted reasons. Flights Expert cannot guarantee that a requested seat, meal, frequent flyer benefit, or other special service will be provided.

Where available, such requests should be submitted to the airline in advance and reconfirmed before departure.

13. Travel Services and Product Suitability

Travel products and services may have specific restrictions, limitations, and suitability requirements. Customers should review the descriptions, conditions, and limitations of the services they purchase before completing a Booking.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes any consumer rights, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Special Discounts and Offers

Flights Expert may provide promotional fares, discounts, and special offers on selected dates or occasions.

Offers may be available for a limited period and may be subject to eligibility requirements, availability, fare restrictions, and additional terms.

Please contact us or the relevant Travel Service Provider to confirm the conditions applicable to a particular offer before booking.

15. Accompanied Minors

Customers must satisfy the applicable legal age requirements to make a Booking on their own behalf. Where permitted, an adult may make a Booking for a minor or another traveller for whom they are legally authorized to act.

Airlines may impose additional restrictions on unaccompanied minors, including age limits, supervision requirements, documentation requirements, and restrictions on particular routes or connections.

You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable airline rules and legal requirements before making a Booking for a minor.

16. Credit Card Chargebacks

If you have a question or concern about a charge associated with a Booking, please contact Flights Expert before initiating a payment dispute whenever reasonably possible. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve your concern.

You retain any rights to dispute a transaction through your card issuer or financial institution under applicable law and card-network rules.

Flights Expert may provide relevant Booking records and other evidence when responding to a disputed transaction. Where permitted by law and the applicable rules, we may challenge chargebacks that we reasonably believe are unsupported or inconsistent with the transaction records.

Examples of disputes that may require investigation include:

• Disputes involving non-refundable Bookings where the applicable terms and conditions were disclosed and the requested refund is not available under the provider's rules or applicable law.
• Transactions authorized by a family member, friend, colleague, or another person who had permission to use the payment method.
• Disputes involving a Travel Service Provider's failure to provide a service as described, which will be reviewed against the Booking details and applicable consumer protection rules.
• Disputes involving delays, cancellations, force majeure events, or other circumstances requiring review under the relevant provider policies and applicable law.

Where a chargeback relates to a Booking, cancellation or suspension of the affected Booking may occur where permitted by the applicable terms, payment rules, and law.

Cancellation and refund eligibility will be determined by the applicable Booking conditions, the Travel Service Provider's policies, and mandatory legal requirements.

17. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, design, graphics, illustrations, layout, and other content on our Website are owned by Flights Expert or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access, view, and make ordinary personal-use copies of Website content through normal browser functionality, subject to applicable law.

Without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected Website content, except where permitted by law.

Brand names, business names, service marks, trademarks, logos, and other identifiers displayed on our Website may belong to Flights Expert or third parties. No ownership rights or licenses are granted except as expressly stated or permitted by law.

18. Prohibited Activities

You may retain copies of your itinerary, Booking confirmations, and related travel documents for personal use. You agree not to misuse our Website or its content.

You must not:

• Make fraudulent, speculative, fictitious, or otherwise illegitimate Booking requests.
• Use automated tools, bots, spiders, scrapers, or similar methods to access, monitor, or copy Website content without authorization.
• Circumvent Website access restrictions or security measures.
• Submit false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
• Make reservations without a genuine intention to use them for legitimate travel purposes.
• Use another person's name, account, user ID, or password without appropriate authorization.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Post or transmit unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise prohibited material.
• Use the Website in a manner that disrupts its operation or interferes with other users.

Disputes concerning the performance of a third-party travel service should be addressed with the relevant provider where appropriate. Nothing in this section releases Flights Expert from any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

22. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Flights Expert is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party providers except to the extent that liability arises under applicable law or from obligations undertaken by Flights Expert.

Flight delays, cancellations, strikes, overbooking, changes in routing, and other disruptions may be outside our direct control. Refunds, rebooking, compensation, and other remedies depend on the circumstances, the applicable Booking conditions, provider policies, and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Flights Expert's liability for a claim arising from a Booking or the use of our Website will be limited to the extent reasonably permitted under applicable law and the circumstances of the claim. No provision of this Agreement excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Any claim deadlines, limitation periods, or procedural requirements will be governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms shortens a mandatory statutory limitation period or removes a right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Where permitted by law, remedies for a failure to provide services may include the provision of the services again or reimbursement of the reasonable cost of obtaining equivalent services. The availability of any remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.

23. Communications and User Submissions

You may communicate with Flights Expert through our Website, email, reviews, suggestions, photographs, videos, or other submission methods supported by our services.

Flights Expert provides travel-related services and may act as an intermediary or agent for Travel Service Providers, depending on the transaction.

Except where expressly agreed or required by law, this Agreement does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, franchise, or other legal relationship between you and Flights Expert.
